When will Diesel cars such as Mercedes, BMW come to US and Canada?

I have friends in Europe and they have diesel cars. It is very popular there.

eg: BMW 520d, 320d (these are turbo engines)
I checked out the sites but they don't have diesel engines for the cars.

For example: No 520d, 320d, and no diesel mercs in the site too!
