9-11 was Clinton's failure.

How can you have lived through the 90s and not know that?

How many times did al Qaida attack us at home and abroad and that horse's ass did nothing? He made 9-11 inevitable by allowing a dozen or more al Qaida terror cells to grow inside our borders.

Blaming Bush just makes you look as stupid and uninformed as the rest of the zombies on the left.
 
Not all of us republicans have blinders on. Some of us see the pseudo-conservative, fiscally irresponsible failure that was George Bush.
 
Up to that point most Americans didn't care about the Middle East, Osama, or terrorist cells. After 9/11 US citizens became much more aware of terrorists groups, suicide bombers and the such. Even though Clinton had a few terrorist attacks the 9/11 attack is one of the deadliest on record with almost 3,000 killed. A lot of the blame can be put on both Bush and Clinton administrations.

What the future holds for the Obama administration I don't know. Will there be another attack, probably, will it succeed? That I don't know.
 
We can thank Clinton for 9/11, had he taken or killed Osama when he had the chance 9/11 would not have happened.

So if we want to look for failures that led to 9/11, it all begins with the Clinton Administration.
 
Maybe because we "Republicans" actually read the "9-11 Report" and understand contributing factors leading up to it and how ignorance of a threat is a LOT different than repeating the same mistakes as outlined in the report but, this time, expecting a different outcome! Own up to the FACT that Obama is 0-for-2 on terrorism and those people on the plane got lucky. But when luck fails, we need LEADERSHIP not more speeches...
 
9-11 could have been avoided if:

Bush had NOT backed off Clinton administration's anti-terrorism efforts.

Bush had NOT shelved the Hart-Rudman report.

the newly appointed anti-terrorism task force under Dick Cheney had even bothered to meed before 9-11.

Bush had NOT called for cuts in anti-terrorism efforts by the Department of Defense.

Bush had given priority to anti-terrorism efforts by Justice Department.

Bush had NOT ignored warnings from Sandy Berger, Louis Freeh, George Tennant, Paul Bremer, and Richard Clarke about the urgency of terrorist threats.

Bush had NOT halted Predator drone tracking of Osama bin Laden.

Bush had done something in wake of August 6 C.I.A. report to president saying Al Qaeda attack by hijack of an airliner almost certain.

So, the anser is NO. We should remind them. They seem to have forgotten 9-11..........

and 911 was NOT clintons failure given the Bush administration received intelligence about the attacks...enough with the revisionist history.
