...just sit & wait to be served? When I'm a guest at a person's house, I like to ask if I can be of any help.. usually they'll not ask, but sometimes some do.. and depending on how close I am to the person, I'll offer to do the dishes. They tell me not to do it, of course. When I have visits at my place, however, I've noticed that not many people like to offer me help.
So this makes me feel really stupid, like I should just forget about helping THEM when I'm at their place.
