I was in a cinema in the late 50s Im sure it was watching Ice Cold in Alex, a new film with Sylvia Syms as the female lead, at the interval, it seemed to be much longer than usual, and then the lights went up and a vision in a long satin dress walked down the aisle right past us, I just couldnt take it in.. yes it was the star herself Sylvia on her way to the Cadora in Glasgow for some function that night, she noticed the flim being played in the cinema as she passed and asked her driver to stop, I thought it was wonderful, her doing that , she spoke for quite a while about filming her husband back then who was judo expert and her pets. she was lovely, can you imagine this happening at cinemas now.
