When should i take the test?

I had unprotected sex last saturday, yesterday i passed a little bright/light blood (which i think may be implantaion bleeding) i am due on my period at the end of the weekish, i took a test today and it read negitive. When should i take another test to be sure? and does it sound like i am pregnant? Thanks
 
I would suggest taking a test from the day your period is due. This is usually written on all test kit. It might be a bit early for sperm and egg fertilization to be detected since it was only last saturday. I would wait till period is due and test again. good luck
