When should I take the preg. test? PLEASE HELP?

My period is supposed to start on the 6th of July, I plan on taking the test the day after on the 7th, if It doesnt start before then. But can I take it tonight or in the morning tomorrow? Which would be better???? please help
HAHA i gave in, and did it tonight, I figure, Im going to take it after the period date anyway- so whats it going to hurt!

I would wait at least 1 week after your start date.

You could take it, but it is a bit too early. I would wait until at least the 4th.
