I had Advair but it expired... so all I have now is my Albuterol.
Should I be taking it as soon as I feel symptoms, or not until it gets really bad? Because I haven't been able to breathe right since Monday, but I didn't have a full-out attack until last night (which was the first time I used my Albuterol) I have mold-induced asthma and I've only had an issue one other time a few months ago.. it went away as soon as I removed myself from the mold, so I didn't really have a chance to use my medicine.

You shouldn't wait until things are extremely bad to use your Albuterol. If you are having breathing difficulties, you should be using the Albuterol. Typically they recommend 2 puRAB up to 4 times a day when things are bad. If you need it more than that, you should be going back in to the doctor.

If you are going into situations that you know might trigger your asthma, you can also use it in advance to keep from having a bad attack. Some use it before exercise. I use it before going outside into extremely cold air.

Please make the Advair again and use your rescue inhaler as your doctor says. I dont think there is anything worse than to feel like you cant take a breath, please take care of yourself and use the proper medications that you need. Sherry
