when should i take a test and what kind should i use?

i am due my period on the 6th but me and my partner were gona wate till the 10th to take a test as its anniversary on the 10th but my partners just said to take tomorrow it that not to soon?
 
I would wait until until Tuesday and then get the first response pregnancy test. They are a little pricier than the other brands, but they are the only ones I will buy because it will give you an accurate result up to 5 days before your missed period. If you get a BFN, then I would wait until you miss your period and check again. With some women, it takes longer for the HCG to show up on a test than others. Good luck to you!
