I'm a student, and my name isn't completly out there in the art world, but rather just vaguely throughout the community. I have a exhibition coming up where my art will be hung in the towns public library, where it can be bought. I have acrylic works, but I also have photography works, and I was wondering what reasonable price to sell it at.
They're all 8" x 10" and colour. I dont want to go too low, but I want them to sell, please help. ^^

Prices are set based on locale and the ability to pay.

I've seen 4x6 photos on large 11x14 matting selling for $250 in Connecticut. The same thing in Newark, NJ might sell for $25.

Evaluate your clientele and set your prices accordingly.

your best pieces sell for $25.00 to $30.00 and your lesser works sell for $10.00 and in time as you progress you then can put higher prices on them. But at least at these prices you will be sure to sell some of your work.
