when reading/reciting the quran is there a particular posture that should be adopted?

my reason for asking is when watching youtube videos i have noticed that a common posture seems to be sitting cross legged on the floor, so i was wondering is this the correct posture or the correct choice

also without sounding offensive if i was to visit a mosque or madrassa if i asked nicely could i hear a demonstration by one of the pupils of a quran recitation
