This was the first time he ever did it and it scared me. Why would he do that? Or am I overreacting?

if it was the first time he prolly just reacted on impulse no biggie.but if it does happen again you should tell him you are uncomfortable with it and he might stop if he doesn't then i'll leave that up to you....deal or stop having sex i guess.hope this helps

It's possible he did not realize that it might scare you. But don't let that prevent you from telling him if he does something you don't like.
