My friend and I live together. We've had a falling out, and I'm going to move out of our apartment. I pay the bills, though he gives me half of the money for them every month.
How do I go about changing the utilities from my name to my friend's name? What if he refuses to have the bills put into his name but somehow sticks me with a full bill? What am I responsible for as far as payments go? Am I responsible until the end of the month? I'm intending on moving back in with my parents for a bit, so I won't be transferring any bills to another address.
