When Is Tmo Getting Some New Bb Equipment?

Its very frustrating reading about all the new Blackberrys that are coming out only to be disappointed again and have them go to ATT... The newest being the 8820, which has everything I want.. GPS,WI-FI and a higher Pixel Camera..
Why isnt TMO getting off their butts and getting some of these contracts before ATT?? Can anyone shed some light?
There is so much hype and rumor on other sites it gets sickening. I always thought I'd be a loyal TMO subscriber forever but im starting to question that and deal with the fact that I might jump ship just to get some new stuff...
Anyone else share these same concerns or feelings....

I used to work for tmo in the uk, I was a retail manager, and they have a strategic plan when it comes to new equipment. Due to the high levels of functionality, and research that says customers are 'turned off' by unreliability, they try to get it right first time. Its not often you'll get a buggy phone from T compared to other networks here in the UK.
 
well you have to look at all the factors of why T-mobile is being lapped by AT&T.

Tmo is barely past 25million users while AT&T has over 90 million. They aren't in the same GSM league and the release of the iPhone has only helped the gap grow (and will probably continue to grow). T-mobile has no 3g network and is a far ways off from the release of theirs (and still have a rather shotty 2.5g network outside of major cities). Hugest factor is the $$ they have behind them and potential customers they can push the product to. If you were a phone maker, which of the two would you talk to for release of your brand new product?

If you want those exclusives, AT&T is the company to sign with, but for the price tmo offers on plans/extras and the customer service, I think they make up for their short comings in exclusitivity (sp? or even a real word? lol).
 
I heard that ATT is gonna get the 8820 first, on BGR they are saying maybe even next week. WTF is T-mobile upto? Its already being released on Orange over in the UK
 
Looks like I'm gonna be calling T-Mo later today and demanding a BRAND NEW 8800 with memory card, wrist lanyard (if available and the 8800 has a place on the device for it) AND a 1 GB memory card. I have had 2 Pearls since January and even though I am a die hard SureType fan, my 7100t is killing me with its size and no trackball. I refuse to get a third Pearl also.
