Im in the middle of my freshman track season. I also ran cross country. Im wondering though when would be the appropriatee time to contact a D1 coach for collage? My current high school coach says I should e-mail him (the coach of the school i want to run for) after my soph cross country season, so that they can keep on eye on me and my times. I know most collages dont care how you do your freshman year but Im not sure if I should contact them in my soph year or wait until they come to me? Thanks!
