You need to have sex at least a week before your period when you are ovulating. If you are a regular person with your cycle then you should be able to plan accordingly. That was not a super smart way for me to avoid pregnancy seeing as how your cycle can change because of so many other factors in your life. It worked for me for a while. Hope this was helpful.
