When is the 2009 Marine Corp Ball @ Camp Lejeune, NC?

My husband will be checking in around september 25th and I would really like to go ahead and buy my plane ticket to fly out for the ball. Just one problem, he wont find out until it gets closer he said so if anyone is currently stationed there and already knows when the ball is please let me know!

Also, I currently have a picture of my dress set as my profile picture. I am the blonde with the blue and gold dress. Is this dress appropriate?
 
Probably in November when all the Marine Corps Balls seem to be held. Somewhere around the eleventh just as the Army holds its big ball around the 14 of June every year. Good luck to you and thank you for your service. Yes the dress is appropriate. Good luck again
 
The Marine Corps Ball is in November (10th) but it is up th his command on exactly what day they will celebrate it...they usually will do it the week of the anniversary... first-tenth...
