When is Lionsgate Films making the book "The Hunger Games" into a movie?

I read the book and was addicted to it. I want to read the second book but I have to wait till I get paid. I even cried because I didn't have the second book. Anyways, I just really want to know when the movie is coming out or if its cast has even been chosen. Thanks for your time! ♥ *smiles warmly*
