I have a lionhead. I know they can be breed at 6 months but i didn't find a buck I liked till she was 7 and a half months. The breeder didn't have time for me to bring her over till she was almost 8 months and the breeding didn't take. We though we felt some babies when palpating but when baby time came there where no babies. Now she is almost 8 months. I have herd rumors that if you do not breed a bunny soon enough her hips will close and encrease the chance of stuck babies. Is this true? If so if I breed her now at nine months do you think this has already started to happen?
