One year and two weeks ago a stipulation was in effect, but the landlord didn't nothing to pursue an eviction. The landlord is a public housing authority which means they have more leeway to enforce the law. I thought there was an agreement to step back from court activity. But after year of no activity to enforce the stipulation, I now face eviction. Are there any general rules regarding when a contract becomes moot and unenforceble because of inactivity? thanks.
