Do you get paid as soon as you arrive?
Is there a lot of studying and tests to do?
Are they hard?
Do you have some time to study for tests on your own?
How about homesickness, when does the average recruit start getting over it?
I think of myself as an insecure type of guy sometimes with fear of not being able to make it. Other people have more faith in me than sometimes I do. I know I am a fighter, but I'm scared of failing... I heard that in boot camp it's mostly mental and I think I can deal with that. I'm 27 years old in ok shape (currently working out) so take sometime in telling me what kind of exercises I should prepare myself for.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks Marines.
Please, do add some tips and hints if you like. Don't stick to just answering these questions.
I wasn't asking if the USMC are hard, I was refering to the written tests or study lessons.
