When i smile with my teeth it looks weird?

My normal smile is a closed lip smile and it looks good, but not very natural. But when i smile with my teeth it looks awkward and weird, and my mouth stretches weirdly. I want to smile naturally like i do when i laugh. People always comment and say "why don't you ever smile with you teeth?" Any tips on how to smile naturally or whatever?

my boyfriend has the same issue!! and like i tell him ,,, its all in your head! im sure you look fine! just smile!!
