when i receive a new IM on Facebook chat, it stops my typing in my other windows.

how do i fix this? i don't hear the "pop" sound, i tried clearing the cookies, but still..nothing. anyone know anything? thanks! =)
i tried clearing my cookies, but that didn't seem to fix it. for example, when someone sends me a msg via facebook chat, if im typing to someone on AIM (or anywhere else) it would cause my typing to stop. any ideas how to fix this? thanks! =)
 
The poping noise is annoying in my opinion.
Urm when the thing is open with the chat in.. close it (if that makes sense)

The chat is open on the picture. Try closing it, and seeing how that goes?
