i don't know , I just....I just...get 'captivated' by the prose, the sonnets, the amazing poetical craft of some our finest poets.
I cried a little reading some Shakespeare, some Edmund Spencer or some Thomas Wyatt.
would this totaly put a girl off from dating me ?
you see, after a football match, (in which my club has been victorious in), I like to go home with the lady - prepare a candle lit dinner with the balcony slide doors wide open overlooking the mersyside skyline from our 40th storey high rise apartment....and recite some verses from my favourite poets to her.
Of course, I pour her a glass of fine 14th century french or english wine first.
Its just the last date - when I finished reading my poem, had quite simply 'vanished'.
when I read classic english poetry I sometimes start to cry ?
