I just got a car and it is a 1999 Subaru Impreza Sport Outback Automatic Transmission, 2.2L. I live in MN and we just had a lot of snow so i am not sure if that is part of the problem, I just bought the car and when we test drove it didnt have the problem. But anyways I am in drive and when I press down on the gas pedal and it revs and then drives, there is a slight kick. The check engine light is on so I am not sure what to think. My first instinct it is the transmission (which I hope I dont need a whole brand new one) but does anyone have anyideas of what it might be???
