(Yes, I've asked this before, I would like more input.)
Ok, so I have an electric guitar.
A cherry red Stratocaster knock off. Seeing as its a knockoff, its not exactly the highest quality, but a week ago I wouldn't call it a piece of crap.
I would now.
Before it would go slightly out of tune after a day or two. Now it goes kind of out of tune after a few minutes.
And now when I press down on a fret (ANY fret on the lower 4 strings) it sounds really sharp or really flat.
And the strange thing is when I pluck an open string, it sounds normal. Yes, I'm using standard tuning.
It didn't do this before (LIKE A WEEK AGO.) I didn't drop it, or manipulate it in any way.
I changed one string, only because of this problem, and it didn't do a thing.
What the heck is wrong with my guitar?
Its not my amp, it does this even when its unplugged.
edit: No... I'm not pressing on the fret wire- "fret bar thingy"...
