when i move my mouse to the right and click ,the cursor pops up mid game and

no keys will work for awhile? and when i say awhile i mean just a few sec untill i click the mouse button agin and it gose away untill i see another enemy to the right then i turn to shoot him the cursor comes up and i die. needless to say this is getting a little old, any help guys? also i dont have the driver disc to my mouse any more
