When I am just city driving, and get to any full stop, my car shuts off, the check engine light comes on and the tachometer fluctuates before the car shuts off. I have to restart the car everytime. Does anyone know what is wrong with my car? I just changed my battery a year ago. I'd rather not take it into a shop if its something minor someone on here can help me with. Thanks!

Check for a bad brake booster, although your car is too new. A bad one will cause the idle to drop because the vacuum is diverted to the hole in the diaphragm. The other possible problem is dirt inside the throttle body or inside the idle air control valve. You can clean these things out with Gum-out spray. Good Luck!!

This sounds like your torque converter. You can have a local garage go through it and check it out, but it does sound like that's the prob.
