I have a mortgage payment and car payments plus bills ($3,000 total), my work will pay me but only 2 weeks worth then thats it. Would the pay during boot camp even come close to help, or are there other options?
You would be receiving $1509.90 per month as an E-2 while in BCT. Keep in mind, they still take out federal and state taxes, SGLI, debt payments, and any other deductions. Once you graduate BCT and go to your unit, you would be receiving $201.32 per month while at drill. So no, with just your base pay, it would not come close to covering your bills.
