When I connect my Samsung Captivate to my computer, I cannot accces my menu bar..why?

I'm trying to sync my Captivate with my itunes using itunes agent. I should be able to access the pull down menu bar while my phone is connected to USSB so that I can "Mount" my phone to itunes. Why isn't it letting me pull down my menu bar?


Is there another way to sync my itunes with my Captivate?

PLEASE HELP!
