There is no volume when I play it on my stereo but it is fine on the PC. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I am using Window media player. thanks
Thanks for your replies. I should of stated that I am using CD-RW
Hi, I have also used CD-R and had the same problem
thanks to all of you for replying with some good advice

you've probably burnt it on to a DVD disc. DVD's work on computers but it's not a CD so won't work in a stereo :)

try CD RW discs rather than DVD RW discs

I do not think even CD RW work on a HIFI - CD-R are the preferred variety - if using Mediaplayer - make sure that you are saving WAV files - not MP3 ( I think it does the conversion anyway) and that you ar choosing to make "audio disk".

If just dumping files using XP/VISTA - again wav files onto a CDR
Nero is pretty good for burning.

It could be the type of cd your using to burn your music onto and whatever format the songs are in, if theyre in mp3s then it will be your disc (make sure its a cd disc)
