When given a birth control prescription, where do i go to get it? (canada)?

I was given a birth control prescription by my doctor the other day, where do i go to get it?
I've never taken the pill before so i don't know. Do you just go to your local pharmacy (ex. zehrs)?
I live in Ontario, Canada
