Northern Ireland Housing Executive are threatening court action for rent arrears dated back from 2002 to 2004. I believed I was getting housing full benefit but now 6 years latter they say that I owe rent. Is this a debt and is it statute barred under the limitations act 1989.
I moved out of the property 6 years ago and have not acknowledged the debt and have made no payments on it.
