In the case of what happened to me I believe that it does. i grew up in Romania and I am now here in the USA to go to college. But when I was 16 and still in Romania I was raped by this 21 year old boy. I had knew him since I was 12 and he was a friend of my cousins friend. After I was raped I was very ashamed and waited a whole week until I told my only living parent at that time which is my Dad.
I completely surprised by how he responded. I thought he would be mad at me but instead he was enraged at the boy who raped me. my Dad went to the police, but nothing was done about it. So about a month later my Dad killed that guy.
He went into his house where he lived with his parents and waited until they got home. Shot and killed the boy that raped me and then just left out and didn't harm anyone. Now before my Dad killed him, he found out that I was not his first victim and it happened twice before in the past. But because his parents had money they just paid the people not to press charges against their son.
My question is this: Do you think what my Dad did was right, seeing as how no one else would do anything?
