when does chatting online become an addiction?

if you were dating someone who spent most of their time chatting online to other people then want to spend time, doing anything other than that, and you being forced to stay in another room cause their chats are private, would you put up with it?

No, I wouldn't because not only do they have a problem and that person seems to care more about it than the person they're in a relationship with, but when they ask you to leave a room because of a private conversation going on the computer screen...well then I wouldn't feel like I was being trusted.
