When do I have to pay back my financial aid?

If I get a federal loan for financial aid (community college), do I have to make monthly payments while I go to school or can I pay nothing until I'm get my degree?

BTW... not sure how much of a loan it will be, but my estimated family contribution is ZERO since I'm just a single homemaker.
 
Usually, you don't have to pay anything until you get your degree,and this is what most students usually do, but you can also make monthly payments while you're in college.
