So why do heterosexuals prevent pregnancy 99% of the time when having sex?

Clearly sex has very little to do with the intent of having children otherwise heterosexuals wouldn't dread pregnancy and prevent it at every turn.

Sly: that isn't the point. I am not attracted to women but I don't attack men who are.
 
I don't see why homosexuality would develop, and it doesn't have a purpose. But ethically there isn't anything wrong with it, its just you can't have children so its just for pleasure, which isn't exactly what nature intended.
