I've told only a couple of close friends so far. We plan to tell our families after my first exam, at about 9 weeks. Every time I have any odd feeling (I spotted a little at first and had a single bad cramp once, without spotting), I think I might have miscarried, and it's scary having no idea whether I'm pregnant from one day to the next. That's why I won't announce it until a doctor confirms it.
