For the poor and elderly we have medicare and medicaid.
Also, I'm not suggesting that insurance reform isn't needed, b/c it definitely is.
Isn't the real debate over health insurance? I agree, everyone has a right to health care, just like they have a right to buy groceries, a house, and clothes. Nobody is being denied health care by law.
So the real issue then is health insurance reform, correct? I do NOT agree that health insurance is a right. If the government decides to create a right to health insurance, then really the only thing that changes is your right to force me to pay for your health care, no?
