Ben buddy,first of all rinse any chicken off before cooking but especially after dropping on the ground. Second heat or cook at 350 degrees in the oven,pierce chicken with a fork when clear liquid not blood runs out the bird is cooked. Good luck,also to avoid salmonella wash your hands and counter tops as well as your kitchen faucet off with hot water. Also it does not hurt to use clorox clean up wipes or pure bleach to clean away bacteria. Hope this helps. One question when will the bird be ready? Call me when done.lol
