I backed into a brick mailbox and I have a huge white deep scrape on the back of the car. It is a silver metallic car. If I get this repaired can they blend the area in with factory paint or will the whole area need to be repainted? Will the car even look close to new again?
ps- will the colors match or will there be color shade difference? I want the car to look as close to new as possible.

If the scrape is in the clear coat then most body shops can buff out the scratch and little to no change in color or distorting to the factory paint, If its too deep and into or past the paint then the entire area will need to be repainted, most body shops can repair the vehicle with no difference in paint unless factory paint is faded.

With the paint they have to day when the body shop repaints the area
you should not know the diffrence.esp if the shop is a good one.
