When can I test for pregnancy?

Hi ladies!
Okay, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for months now. My last period came a week early and was very light, and didn't last long. My cycle is 31 days long, but I've never had a period this early therefore I'm not sure if I should expect my period 31 days after my last period or 38 days, since it came a week early. It's all confusing, and I'm not sure when to test for pregnancy. Any ideas ladies?
I did have unprotected sex (purposely) two weeks after my last period, hopefully I was ovulating!
 
buy a first response tester with 2 tests in it. with this test u can test up to 5 days before ur missed period so on the 26th day u can test and if its negative and u still dont have a period test again on the 33rd day. and if u dont want to do that then just wait and see if ur period comes on dont do so much calculating and thinking into it. it will all come with time.Good Luck!
