I know my dog can't swim for 10 days - he had the surgery the 28th of May (so it has been 6 days since the neuter).
He is 5 months and 3 weeks. He is eating normally, has all his energy back, and has gone for small walks no problem on leash (but this is not enough for him. We hike or jog every day...)
Can I take him off leash in the woods now for a hike? There is no pond on this trail so I he won't be swimming until the 10 days are up.

So we won't hike yet - do you think we can go for a long walk? Like a 2 - 4 miles?
