As I have told you numerous times before, I am an independent American, not a mindless party lemming such as yourself. So why do you keep humiliating yourself by screeching "leftist" at me every time I dare to question one of your fearful "leaders"?
 
As transparent as an empty window pane are the double standards of the GOP. Case in point; Bush tried the Shoe-bomber in a Federal Court; now his cronies grandstand on Fox News; while video tape of their support can easily be Google.
 
While this obvious falsehood might be considered to be true by the left, the fact is that not only did Bush and Cheney never even intimate anything of the sort, the fact is that this was never even said here on Y!A.

No Republican or Bush supporter ever said that questioning the president was un-American. I defy you to find anybody saying that.

What was being challenged, however, was when Democrat deliberately lied and stated falsehoods about the intelligence on Iraq that Bush (and the Democrats) believed to be true. When Democrats and their idiot supporters started lying that Bush somehow fabricated the intelligence on Iraq, that was directly aiding the enemy's propaganda war, and was undermining our military mission.

When Democrats and their idiot supporters called US troops murderers and Nazis based upon falsehoods and lies, they were directly aiding our enemy and undermining our troops.

The only thing Bush said was that while Democrats had a right to their own opinions, they did not have a right to make up their own facts.

Why must you leftists persist in telling lies?
 
YOu are right that there is a double standard but you are exaggerating it.

The Republicans didn't say no one could criticize Bush. They said the specific criticism of his leadership in the war was American. And some of it was. But most was not. The conservatives took a little bit of a real point and stretched it to apply to situations it should to apply to.

And now liberals are acting like anything but the most civil and proper criticism of Obama is proof of racism! They are acting like the Tea Party protesters are a racist mob when that isn't even close to the truth.

So you are right to point out the hypocrisy on the right, but the same hypocrisy exists on the left. Such is the nature of politics!
 
What's so special about this? The party that's out of power ALWAYS blames the party in power and the party in power ALWAYS demands others to agree with them, so on and so forth.

It's the same thing on both sides, "We're right and you're wrong." They're mirror images, left and right, just like your left and right hands. There's really no difference, put them palm-to-palm and they're a perfect match.
 
Because when the GOP is in power it's "my country right or wrong" and other mindless rhetoric that rules. Who can forget the old favorite "bomb,bomb,bomb,bomb, bomb Iran"?

McCain is still flashing back to his prisoner daze.

Republicans are older bullies like in high school but they are still bullies and they don't think much about what they say.

Solar, it was as a result of the Shoe Bomber that legal provisions were made to try these people in military tribunals. Bush signed it into law. Obama reaffirmed it.
