When booking a flight online what does it mean when it says flight departs...

...from different airport? It says we would arrive in ORD (Chicago, IL) and we also depart from ORD? I don't understand what this means!
Ok let me clarify it more! I leave from Anchorage, Ak. Change planes in Chicago,IL. Then depart from Chicago to go to New York where I live. Arrival and Departure is in Chicago but states that the departing flight leaves from different airport but the code is still ORD (Chicago,IL)
 
Two things here, one..i wouldn't book that flight if i were you and two why would you want to take a flight to the same place you started? Chesk your application was filled in correctly or else you're going to be taking a senseless circular voyage!
