When arguing with creationists, does one need to remember the sole aim of creationism?

The sole aim of creationism is not to contribute to science and understanding of the natural world; the sole aim of creationism is to cast doubt on existing science and understanding of the natural world. That’s it! Creationists will concoct these complicated arguments and speeches but they all come down to one aim; to muddy the waters, to kick up dust and to throw sand in ones face so that they can’t see the truth, the truth that creationism is a blatantly false ideology. There is deceit in everything they say, from the names they attach to their arguments to the out of context quotes they steal from prominent figures; creationism itself is deceit, dirty, stinking, greed inspired deceit.

Well, if your purpose is for the sake of arguing alone, then you can do whatever you want, but if your purpose is to expand both of your knowledge bases and come closer to the truth, then I'm not sure your approach will bear much fruit.

How closed minded...one might say you are doing the exact same thing. I think we should be open to new ideas instead of insulting the beliefs of one another. Don't worry, you will be in my prayers. I hope you get over your bitterness and hate sometime soon.

Yes, and that it is NOT science in any way, shape, or form!

As used in science, a theory is an explanation or model based on observation, experimentation, and reasoning, especially one that has been tested and confirmed as a general principle helping to explain and predict natural phenomena. Before a theory is given any credence in the scientific community, it must be subjected to "peer review." This means that the proposed theory must be published in a legitimate scientific journal in order to provide the opportunity for other scientists to evaluate the relevant factual information and attempt to duplicate any experimental procedures involved.

Creationists refuse to subject their "theories" to peer reviews, because they know they don't fit the facts. The creationist mindset is distorted by the concept of "good science" (creationism) vs. "bad science" (anything not in agreement with creationism). Creation "scientists" are biblical fundamentalists who can not accept anything contrary to their sectarian religious beliefs.

Creationism is NOT a theory

Evolution has no true merit as a real science and has not yet been accredited with the true medical sciences we christians practice all the time such as,healthcare, medicine, and starting hospitals. Most missionaries don`t just carry bibles but a good doctor to help the needy in remote areas where they don`t have one.

And with that in mind, you should quit arguing with them. It's pointless to argue with someone who has no intention of considering your arguments.
That's why when a creationist wants to argue with me, all I do is ridicule.

That's rich. Desiree arguing from pure motives.

I needed a chuckle this evening.

Your sole aim of your never-ending ramblings is nothing other than to stroke your own ego.

I've seen unbridled arrogance on this forum, but you just about take the cake.
