I want to improve my performance at school. Aerobic exercise is supposed to be beneficial to your brain. But I heard that the only mental benefit you get from exercise is the short term effect you get on mental acuity which only lasts for several hours, is this true? if it is do i need to exercise every morning to get the mental benefit or does most of the mental benefit come from long-term effect of exercise? I already ride bike to school and go home by bike, but I'm thinking about switching to just afternoon and do sports or martial arts. Would I still get the same benefit in the afternoon or not?
