i have a 1995 honda civic... the car has 225k miles. I am not sure if the wheel bearings have ever been replaced or not.
I started hearing a humming noise coming from the front right wheel. im assuming its the wheel bearing...as i got past 20-30miles per hour the humming gets louder...
I have checked to see if its anything rubbing or touching the wheel and nothing is touching the tire or rim...
This humming noise gets louder as a increase speed. It also happens weather i am going straight or turning.
my question is whats the likelyhood of it being the bearing? Could it possibly be something else?
I do not want to buy the bearing online and have a machine shop take the old one out and press in the new bearing if the bearing isnt the problem...
