We have known each other for 5 years. He's that one person that I could never shake. We met when we were teens and he went to college in NYC. Then he transferred to a college back home (bible belt) area. We've always had a passionate/rocky romance. I can compare to the eminem Rihanna song or Sam and Ron from jersey shore.
He's usually the one hurting me (emotional not physical) this September he did something I won't mention that absolutely killed me it was a very personal dig about abuse I endured in the past I went to the court and got a no contact order. He got a lawyer and fought it and won (I didn't have a lawyer) he obviously wasn't present because I live in new England an he's down south so it was me versus the lawyer.
I was angry for months but a part of me still loved him. I emailed him and apologized and called him to tell him that I missed his voice and he didn't get back to me.
He called me in February at 9 am to let me know he wanted me to move in from him and we talked for an hour. We agreed to not talk again. I sent back his college tshirt that he gave me when we were 19 the next day. I haven't said a word to him since and it had been a month of silence his birthday was march. 31st and this was the first year I haven't wished him a happy bday in 5 years. yesterday morning he texted me and said "Chloe" and I was asleep. So I wrote back "yes" he didnt answer so I said at 4pm "you ok" and he said "thanks for the t shirt" "oh and happy early birthday!" I said "thanks" and that was it.
Why in the hell would he text me an say that. We agreed on closure I sent the shirt back and it wad a month of silence. I don't know what to think. What do you think his intentions are?
