I love the bike, only problem is a slight numb in my right hand, but it goes away as fast as I get it.

I can't flat feet both at a time, so I usually stop with both feet tip toeing and then transition to my left foot flat foot and the right on the brake.

Is there any lowering kit? I need about 2 more inches

5' 10" 170 lbs 32 years old (in a few days). Hands get cramped up and numb on the 748 after 150 or so miles. S4rs is a little bit better. Can go for 200 or so miles with no issues. The 750 PASO is great. Of course it's a sport tour.

But who cares about the pain....you're riding a Ducati!

Hands down the most uncomfortable bike I've ridden. Absolutely excruciating on the back and wrists after an hour. However, the pegs and controls seem to be better spaced for tall riders. While I feel like an ogre on an R6 or R1, they are still more comfortable. But I find myself not caring about that much when I hear the rumble of the V-twin and start carving up some roads...

P.S. New to the DucatiSpot forum. Got my 1098 last Fall, put 700 miles on it in a week, and haven't had a day worth riding since (live in the Midwest)...

Definately not the most comfortable sport bike I've ridden... but as Rush says - hear the rumble and carve some corners and it doesn't really seem to matter anymore. This bike rocks.

i usually push my stomach against the tank and prop myself up. it helps me get a good position on the bike. used to do it alot more when i was commuting on it. going back and forth from the gsxr, depending on the weather, made the duc seem like a better ride for my back.
