""What's that? Quince said. "You Jewish or something?"
"Nah," said Aidan softly. "That's a pentagram."
"So she's a witch," Kelly snapped.
No my dear, Vivian thought. You don't watch enough late-night movies. The person who sees a pentagram in his palm becomes a werewolf's victim."
~ Blood and Chocolate (Annette Curtis Klause)

"I think it was Ginger. In a way hoped it was, for then her troubles would be over. Oh if people were really kind, they would shoot us before we came to such misery."
~Black Beauty (Anna Sewell)

By Atticus in To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee

"Just because we were licked 100 years before we started is no reason not to try."

Or something like that

It's a quote from The Book Theif and the Grim Reaper (Death) is speaking and he says:

"I am not violent. I am not malicious. I am a result".

blew my mind!! also the book is riddled with little quotes that i love! but too lazy top type.

Right now this one, from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (lol, I'm obsessed with that book):
"Space is big. Really big. You won't believe how vastly hugely mind bogglingly big it is."
There's a few others, but they're too long to remember exactly.
Edit: I forgot to write the author, the book was written by Douglas Adams.

"Death that hath sucked the honey of thy breath hath had no power yet upon thy beauty" - Shakespeare

"One thing I truly knew - knew it in the pit of my stomach, in the center of my bones, knew it from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, knew it deep in my empty chest - was how love gave someone the power to break you.
I'd been broken beyond repair."

"Those who don't complain are never pitied."

-Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen

"And even if the wars didn't keep coming like glaciers, there would still be plain old death."

- Kurt Vonnegut, Slaughterhouse Five

If you don't marry Mr. So& so, your mother won't speak to you and if you do marry Mr. so & so, I won't speak to you again.
